Where knowledge, values and practice converge
Triveni College of Education trains Bihar’s next generation of school teachers — blending sound pedagogy, disciplined values and hands-on classroom practice, under the Lakshya Educational & Welfare Trust.
A Triveni — a confluence of three streams
Just as the Triveni Sangam is where three sacred rivers meet, our teacher-training programme is built where three streams of preparation converge in every student-teacher we graduate.
Gyaan · Knowledge
A rigorous grounding in pedagogy, child psychology, curriculum design and subject mastery, aligned with NCTE norms and NEP 2020 thinking.
Sanskar · Values
Discipline, ethics and a sense of responsibility toward students and community — the character that separates a teacher from an instructor.
Abhyaas · Practice
Structured teaching practice, school internships and classroom exposure so trainees are ready for the front of a classroom, not just the theory of one.
Preparing trained teachers for Bihar’s classrooms
Triveni College of Education, Nawada was established in 2009 under the Lakshya Educational & Welfare Trust to address a real and pressing shortage: qualified, trained teachers for Bihar’s schools. The college is recognised by the Eastern Regional Committee (ERC) of the NCTE, Government of India, and is affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya.
We exist to prepare student-teachers who can meet a developmentally appropriate, child-centred curriculum with confidence — combining cognitive and language development, health and well-being, community engagement and classroom management into one coherent training.
