Quality Assurance

What NAAC accreditation means

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body under the UGC that assesses and grades higher education institutions in India on teaching, learning, infrastructure, governance and student outcomes. Accreditation gives students, parents and regulators an independent benchmark of institutional quality.

Triveni College of Education is committed to the NAAC framework as a structured way to measure and improve what we do — not as a one-time certificate, but as an ongoing quality cycle.

Current Accreditation Status

to be updated with current NAAC cycle status — e.g. IIQA submitted / SSR under preparation / accredited with grade

This section should reflect the college’s real, current position in the NAAC cycle. Update it as the process progresses so the page always states the accurate, verifiable status.

Seven Criteria

What NAAC evaluates

Institutions are assessed against seven weighted criteria. Here is what each one covers.

Criterion III — Research, Innovations & Extension

Criterion IV — Infrastructure & Learning Resources
Classrooms, library, labs, ICT resources and campus facilities that support learning.
Criterion V — Student Support & Progression
Scholarships, mentoring, grievance redressal, placement support and alumni engagement.
Criterion VI — Governance, Leadership & Management
